Lazy? No, actually I have been quite the mover and shaker recently which means I have plenty excuses for my lack of blogness.
Ken’s excuses for not updating his blog
  • Seattle to Portland, yes I got up of my lazy ass and rode my collection of twine and ductape that some call a bicycle 200 miles to Portland, OR. Thankfully Chase and Alex documented with plenty of pictures:

  • Defcon 12, I met up in Las Vegas with my fellow Shmoo as well as my friends Terry, Ben and Brian. We competed in the Wi-Fi Shootout (site is 404ing at the moment) and unfortunately did not place. I spent 8 hours in the desert alone while I waited for them to connect to our node at base camp. The Shmoo Hacker Bot returned this year with new technology preventing it from dive bombing into the Pools at the Alexis Park. Mike brought the Sniper Yagi and *lucky* the cockaroach spent the night in my room before being devoured by one of the Defcon goons for a fistfull of cash. Oh yeah I also went the Sapphire Gentelmens Club, which according to Jay Leno is a cross between Costco and Hooters, strangely enough their $11.50 Coronas tasted no better than the $3 ones at the hotel.
  • I am getting 65 Cadillac Sedan Deville today, more on that later
  • Couple of months ago, I recieved an excel spreadsheet with Happy Hour info for various Seattle hoods…

I remember looking through the data, and picking out information that was no longer accurate or just plain wrong. So I teamed up with a friend to setup SeattleDrunks. SeattleDrunks is wiki for beer and booze lovers in the Seattle area to get their geek on and share 1s and 0s about your embibement adventures. For starters it is just an export of the data that was in the excel spreadsheet but it has the promise to be so much more!
